It's the final post of the series, and I am gonna name the good and bad points about each season before I name the winner.
These last two were so different but had a few similiarities which ended up making this so difficult to choose.
Siberia had 18 celebrities and there was a killer on the loose that murdered every celebrity with a different weapon as they were voted out. This season had a unique twist where each juror had to vote for someone right after they were voted out, with the expectation that they would not get to vote at the end due to them being dead.
As the game went on, there were alot of alliance switching and alot of early "Alliance Battles". The game started out with two tribes that were very equal, but there was little tribal tension, all of that tension was inside of the tribes as there were big divides in alliances. This lead to a controversial tribe between two alliances early in the game, the other tribe broke the tie and voted out a completely different member which lead to a complete change in the course of the game and kept Jennifer - the eventual winner from being eliminated. By the merge, Kneppers alliance had beaten out Jennifers alliance. As more of Jen's allies fell, she talked Knepper into backstabbing Matt Dallas(Crazy James) with the logic that there would still be a 4-2 advantage for him. This lead to a campaign by Owen and Jennifer to get Jigsaw to vote with them, which failed and Owen was voted out. As the main alliance of Knepper, Josh, Hugh, Jigsaw raged on Jennifer continued to win immunity as that was her only option to stay in the game. After winning 7 total individual immunities she took Kneppers allies down one by one eventually taking him to the finals because she wanted a challenge(Which lead to her losing in S3). At the end, their ghosts came back and got to vote a second time. The twist on the twist was proof that jurors do have a change of heart and some jurors do vote with anger and not for the person they actually want to win. At the end there was a 9-9 tie and the tie braker that was originally stated was that the first jurors first vote would be the only vote of his/hers to count. This meant that Jennifer Aniston(Renny) won by a 9-8 vote, leaving Knepper(Frosti) and the ones who voted for him twice angry.
Bad -
1) Jennifer not losing immunity very often made the game predictable and boring at times, even though it was her only option.
2) Kelly sacrificing herself to save her ally lead to bad drama although it was stated that anyone who quit the game during TC would be the only person to leave that night unless it was a 2 person elimination TC.
3) There being 15 weeks in this game dragged the game out for too long.
4) There were a few inactives in the beginning that made TC's predictable.
Good -
1) The 4-4 tie week 5 that caused Anna to leave the game was controversial (in the good way) and suprised many and changed the game.
2) The tribe switch the third week took players by suprise and switched things up more than intended.
3) The mix of new and old players were perfect
4) The twists I feel made the game fresh and more enjoyable, atleast from my point of view
5) Jennifer's choice at the final 3 made the final 2 alot more enjoyable and damn near impossible to predict.
6) The backstab of Matt made the game change a little and more exciting
7) The game in general was very enjoyable to watch.
Giza had 16 Celebrities which entered the game with the knowledge of being chosen one by one and being asked "Truth or Dare". About half chose truth and half chose dare, most dares kept players in the game, except for Christian Bale who was eliminated at the worst point in the game, the first round of the merge. This gave Bastet an advantage that took the five of them that made the merge to the final 7.
The game started out Anubis vs Bastet, which many called the battle between Cats and Dogs. The tribes were very even and as the weeks went on the tribes were even up until the merge. Right before the merge the game was divided into 4 tribes of 3, which left many scared and many feeling safe and added a new dimension to the game. At the merge Christian Bale(Eaglzfan) was eliminated and gave bastet the advantage and the first merge voted was 4 votes for Hillary Clinton(Renny) and 5 votes for Billy Joel. This week, Hillary and Conan really bonded and formed a strong alliance with Britney Spears. Billy Joel was thought to be the first juror, however many were wrong when they learned that there would only be five jurors. During the game, some players received double votes and vote nullifications which changed some players strategies. The second week of the merge, Ozzy(Kdub) and Terry and Sarah Palin(Katie) switched tribal alliances and Lady Gaga used her double voted which changed the game and caused Sarah to be eliminated. This showed that Lady Gaga and Lex had a tight bond that managed to form an alliance with Ozzy. The next week they voted out Terry, backstabbing him. Ozzy Nullified Hillary's which was pointless as she wanted Terry out anyway. This was a bad move on the Gaga-Lex-Ozzy alliance as it made the Hillary-Conan-Britney alliance just as strong as them. Hillary winning her second immunity in a row saved her from being possibly eliminated as she was still a prime target by the opposing alliance, but it also lead to her main ally Britney(Michaelnsync) to being swayed by gaga to vote for lex, whcih wouldnt have happend if Hillary would have been up for elimination. This ultimately lead to a 3-2-1 vote that ironically killed britney. The following week Hillary was eliminated leaving the final 4 being the alliance of 3 and Conan who ended up winning the last three immunities and making the finals against Lady Gaga. This lead to a strong final 3 where Hillary vote against her ally and voted for Gaga, this lead to Lady Gaga winning 3-2.
Bad -
1) There were 3 players who were mostly inactive that brought the first 3 rounds down.
2) The tribal strange was plain although they were both very strong.
3) Conan winning three immunities and not being able to turn the game around was not as great as it could have been
Good -
1) The twist lead to a much simpler but more strategy based game.
2) The pacing was perfect.
3) The game had some of the best confessionals, especially Conans
4) The Backstabbs were plentiful and strategy was abundant.
5) The majority of the game and the finals were very unpredictable.
6) The powers that were given out kept the players guessing and added a new dimension to the game.
It was back and forth for me, one had more bads but also more goods while the other had one less good but one less bad.
It ultimately came to which game had the BEST Pro's which in my opinion was...
...
This probably isn't a surpise to anyone, in my opnion this was the best of the best and we had the strongest games I ahve seen strategically. Conan was the best well rounded player arguably ever, while Lady Gaga and Lex had great strategy. We saw Renny use more strategy than usual and take more of a backseat while doing it. Michael played more intelligently and we also saw interesting games from the majority of the cast.
Here comes the outrage...
