Survivor Season Rankings

Hey everyone, it's Pgcool! This blog is where I will be ranking 17 seasons of Survivor! I've watched mostly all of Survivor, but there are 3 seasons that I haven't gotten around to watching yet. This is where I will rank the seasons and give an explanation as to why it was ranked where it is.

Season not included: Marquesas, Thailand, and Amazon

17th Place

Although this season brought in a new twist (tribe swap), I still found this season very forgettable with few great events happening in it.
I really found the cast forgettable and bland, and the only 2 that really are memorable to me are Lex and Ethan.
The challenges were what was expected in that time, but like all the old seasons I watched, I found to format bizarre and sometimes difficult to watch. I'm more used to the Jeff Probst talking during challenges, and just the feel of this season left me a little annoyed.
I'm not saying it was a horrible season (because I think every season of Survivor was great), but I am saying that this is easily my least favourite.

Most definantly a good ranking, although Amazon and Marquesas are two of my favs...
I liked Theresa, she was cool.

16th Place


Survivor Panama was yet another forgettable season for me. The only memorable person for me were Shane, Aras, Terry, and Cirie. This seasons also brought an "all star" who is truly my least favourite Survivor contestant... That person is none other then Cirie... People love her, but I truly hate her.
The challenges this season were pretty good, but not like "WOW! THAT WAS EPIC!".
The people were like I mentioned, some what boring with only a few interesting characters. Shane was hilarious and the only one I really actually liked.
Overall, yeah it was okay... but it doesn't have that memorable factor for me, or something that makes me want to watch it again.

Agreed, I too hate Cirie and this season because Terry did not win. Aras was a complete douche.

I don't understand all the hype about how this was the best season ever... This season was very, very boring and the people in it were very, very boring. I found the challenges lame as heck, and the only good part was Sue's speech (which wasn't even that great...). I found it very interesting that Jeff Probst basically got to go on every single reward xD It wasn't horrible, but it was very boring and this season almost ended up as 17th, but since it was the very first and basically an experiment, I had to let it slide up a bit.

Yeah, the first season really defined the rest of the games. It was so primitive though, good ranking.

I expected Africa to be higher. Ethan is one of the greatest players I think Survivor has ever had. You also had some fun people to watch in T-Bird, Lex, and Farmer Tom. I could have done without Brandon and Frank though...

I also expected Season one to be higher. Rudy sets the standard for me in likable players (Screw overrated Rupert), and the tribal alliance that was made perhaps changed Survivor's future forever. Without that pact, would future seasons have figured out the power of an alliance? Survivor today might be a completely different game with Borneo.

Yeah, I respect Ethan more knowing everything that he went through in life. I watched season 1 on the outdoor living channel when it use to air survivor, so it was after all stars. (I don't think the channel exists anymore) Rudy is a fan of mine. Are any other countries versions of Survivor who have not seen ANY from the US version have any different strategies?

I personally LOVED Panama! There were a lot of dramatic people who made it fun to watch...but thats my opinion..

14th Place:



and or 14th place, we have the 14th season This season wasn't as bad as a lot of people said it was. I actually kind of liked it. I just don't think the season was that memorable as a whole, but definitely enjoyable to me. My favourites... Michelle falling off the platform in a challenge, and Lisi falling face first into the mud during the memory challenge! xD

In terms of memorable characters, I think this season actually had quite a lot. Yau-Man definitely... Mookie... Michelle... Dreamz... but the thing is... The winner was less memorable then the first jury member (Rocky).

In terms of challenges, this season with pretty bland... Better then the first few seasons challenges, but still very bland (although none could be worst then the challenges in this season (Nicaragua)).

All in all, it wasn't the most interesting season ever... but it definitely is not anywhere near the worst. The seasons really just get better from here.

I liked Exile Island also (Panama) I liked the other tribe being picked off one by one and Terry continuously winning In.immunity and making the others turn on each other.

And i do remember that bi-polar guy that needed to smoke, and he was like "IM GOING TO KILL YOU IF YOU VOTE ME OUT!" SHANE! that was his name...haha, he was freaking crazy!

Honestly Fiji was interesting at the beginning, then it got boring, but then it got interesting again. It was also kinda unfair the one tribe having all the luxury and the other tribe having nothing.

Exile Island was one of my favorites. Cirie is the bomb!! I love her because she was like the underdog turned into in my opinion one of the best strategists in Survivor. It was also fun the Casaya alliance getting eliminated one by one because Terry won almost all immunity challenges.
