Man, this game is fun already. 
So I wound up on a tribe with both Cher (Renée) and Kathy (Katie), who were both in my alliance (at least for a while) last time I played. And yeah, the cat's already out of the bag in terms of them knowing that I was Conan in our last game together... not a huge surprise that they found out, and if I had really wanted to keep it 100% secret I would have made a brand new account. More on them in a second.
The first challenge seems to be going well, though it's obviously hard to tell how well we're doing compared to the other tribe. We seem to have a lot of really active players, which is great. It's a sneaky-tough challenge, because there are relatively few words that you can actually make out of the letters available.
Aside from the challenge, I've been doing a bit of research on the other people in my tribe. There's really not much to see. Kevin Garnett and Kelly Clarkson have both played previously, but there wasn't much info to glean from their confessionals, and I already know Kathy and Cher.
Speaking of Kathy and Cher... that's the interesting thing for me right now. I'm torn in terms of how I'd like to approach them. From what I know from last time, the two of them often like to align with each other, though I have no idea if that's still true or not. Part of me thinks that they would make great natural allies for me, but I'm extremely cautious, because they're also enormous threats. Seriously, after reading some of Cher's confessionals from previous games, she scares the bejesus out of me (in a good way... she's a hell of a player). I basically knew that already, but my research has only reinforced it in my mind. A small part of me wants some revenge on Cher for not voting for me in the finals last time, but that's a pretty minor (and petty) concern -- if I decide to target her, it'll be because she's super threatening, and not the result of me seeking revenge. (Which isn't to say that I wouldn't take a sick pleasure in seeing her get voted out... tee hee hee). The reality is, though, that they're both usually active and helpful players, so it would probably be both stupid and difficult to target them early on. Still... you never know. ;D
