This is where my day by day Confessionals will be kept...
Day 1 August 23rd, 2010
So the game really got rolling pretty fast. After Check Ins, we got our first treemail and discovered that we would have to place ourselves in one of three positions. Their would be 3 Givers, 3 Receivers, and only 1 Taker. Whoever was the taker was gonna be in a risky position, and that was known from the get-go.
While the other tribe immediately began jumping on different positions, we were smart and decided to discuss things first depending on who could be on the most.
Day 2 August 24th, 2010
After a lot of discussion, we figured out who would take each position and I ended up getting the risky position in the game - the one taker. Now, I had no worries with this, as I could be on the entire next day, but it was the night that worried me, especially since the other tribe had two members from Australia.
That night, we discovered that it was gonna be all about teamwork, and as predicted, my position was a very risky one. The Givers were actually Throwers, the Receivers were actually Catchers, and my position wasn't a Taker but actually a Runner. The Runner position was vital, as my posts were what allowed the tribe to get the supplies (points, basically). I was nervous, as mostly the entire challenge rode on my shoulders. If I didn't hustle and work my ass off, I was probably gonna go home. But if I did very well and was impressive and we won, I'd probably be a hero.
Amazingly enough, my tribe was insanely active and ready to begin this game with a BANG! There were 6 of us online (everyone excluding Michael) and we got into a group chat on AIM to chat as a tribe and work on the challenge. We all worked hard and brought in a total of 45 supplies. We had this challenge locked up before the night was over and I went to bed feeling pretty damn proud with not just my effort, but the effort of the entire tribe.
However, before the night ended I had a one-on-one chat with Will. Me and Will were talking and he asked me what I thought of allining. I immediately pounced on the opportunity. After all, he is a very active player and we both seemed to think we'd make a great team. There is no way to know that I can trust him though, so I may need to rethink the alliance come merge. But, for now, I think we'll get along just fine. Before getting off for the night, we decided to talking to Mary the next day and see what she thought of joining us.

These are much improved from your days back at SRGO. The only thing that can make them better would be to write more about your tribe mates, if you get too self centered it can be boring. Anyways... A+

I didn't have much to go by on the first two days since alliances and all really begin during and after the first round. Nonetheless, expect them to be more tribemate centered in the future.

Day 3 August 25th, 2010
After solidifying things between myself and Will the previous night, as well as the tribe working our asses off at the challenge, we sat pretty the entire day. The other tribe basically accepted defeat and it was no surprise that they were going to lose considering that they used no strategy whatsoever in deciding positions.
That night, I got the chance to have a talk with Mary and it turns out that she was waiting for me to ask her about an alliance. I told her that me, her, and Will would make a great team and she agreed. She said that she thought we should wait a little longer before deciding on a fourth, which would give us the majority alliance in the tribe.
Prior to the results, Will asked me if he thought it was worth keeping Michael around, since I've seen how he has played before. Now, I don't really think Michael is much of a player. He is more like a behind the scenes guy when it comes to the game of Survivor. I took this opportunity to just say that sometimes he is a good player and sometimes he isn't. I don't really want to throw him under the bus this early in the game, but I also don't want to say he's the greatest either.
When the results came in, we of course won with a whopping 45 supplies earned (you're welcome tribe!!!). Luckily for me and the rest of the tribe, we won't be the first to lose a member and at this point, things look like it'll work out very, very well for the long run.
All in all in the first round of competition, I've shown how much I'm worth in challenges to my tribe and I've also gotten myself a solid 3 person alliance. It was a very productive round and I'm happy that I got the initial chatting out of the way without a hitch. I can't help but think I came off as a threat in the challenge, but hopefully everyone will be willing to keep me around. If the tribe doesn't, hopefully I can still convince my alliance to keep me. If we don't keep winning and I don't keep my alliance on a short leash, then my game might end earlier then expected.
Contestant Thoughts Will : On the outside, he seems to be very trustworthy and is definitely an active player - vital to the tribe even. However, as I haven't played with him before, it'll be tough to see whether or not I can actually trust him for the long run. Mary : She appears the same as Will does. She's a new player to the game and to the site, but while she appears to be trustworthy and very active like Will, there is no way to know for sure. Jeff : He likes to ask a lot of questions, at least to me. He's asked me who I know amongst other things. He's a little Curious George and it makes me feel a little suspicious. Lindsay : She isn't the greatest player in the world but she seems nice and appears to be a fighter, which is all that matters at this point in the game. Adam : I've played with them before and they weren't the greatest player. However, he did well in the first challenge and is beginning to change my opinion of them. Michael : He wasn't around for the first challenge and I wouldn't be surprised if more of those situations come in the future. If we would have lost, I probably would have pushed for him to head home. Tomas : He lied to me right off the bat. He asked me on Day 3 how many supplies we had. When we each told eachother "more than none", he later said that they had 38. However, this wasn't possible and I knew it so I called him out. He laughed it off and said that they had already accepted defeat. At least he fessed up to his lie, but it was a lie nonetheless. Robin : I didn't talk to him at all, but he obviously isn't all that active. In the end, he didn't pull through for his tribe. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the first boot of the game simply because of the first challenge.

Day 4 August 26th, 2010
After the previous night, I woke up to see the latest Tree Mail. Basically, you just had to pick a color. Unfortunately, I got Transparent, which turned out to be the color for a person to sit out. This was both good and bad. Good because I got a challenge off early, but bad because I wanted to proove myself to the tribe some more.
After this, I got in an AIM conversation with Will who told me that Lindsay has been added to the alliance after asking if all three of my alliance (myself, Will, and Mary) wanted to get with her. Quite frankly, I'm a bit suspicious and I find it to be too good to be true. I just hope that I can trust those 3 for the time being.
Later, a major twist to the Immunity challenge prooved that I wished I had been able to play. The challenge involved beating your opponent (who was the same color as you on the opposing tribe) OR you could forfeit your match and take one of four boxes instead.
The other tribe prooved to be very gready, taking 3 out of the 4 boxes. However, since I was randomly sat out, I could take one of those boxes. In an effort to get something good away from the other tribe, I talked to my alliance and decided to take Tomas' box since he was the first person to jump on the opportunity. He might as well pay for that and get nothing in the end.
However, taking this box prooved to be stupid on my part and I ended up getting an 'Automatic Tie Loss'. This means that if I'm involved in a tie situation, then I'll automatically go home. BULLSHIT! Nonetheless, I used this bad omen as a way to proove my worthiness to my 3 allies. I told them what the box contained (after debating whether or not to lie) and told them that if that doesn't proove my allegience to them, then I don't know what will. Hopefully I won't be going anywhere soon and I'm not just a backstabee waiting to happen.
I want to trust my allies, but the truth is, I don't at this point. Before I can trust them, we need to go to Tribal Council. But, I don't really want to go to Tribal anytime soon, as I get this bad feeling that I may be the one to go. I just have to hope and pray right now that my 4 person alliance is for real and that I'm not just completely in the dark. If they were to betray me, I don't think I could ever forgive myself (or them) for trusting them.

Day 5 August 27th, 2010
My day began great. I wrote a paper for summer school work and I thought nothing could beat me. Unfortunately, my computer then got a virus (which I spent two hours removing). Promply thereafter, I was punched in the face. Things went from bad to worse, so when I remembered that there was a challenge, I knew I wouldn't be at my best.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be sitting out this one and it was all about posting every minute and a bunch of other wild shit. In the middle of the challenge, Tyson quits the game, but then miraculously turns back up when his tribe needs him most (BULLSHIT!). Unfortunately, after I went to sleep after a long and difficult day, my tribe lost their first challenge.
Now it's all about figuring out the vote, and it's been settled throughout the tribe that it will be a unanimous vote for Michael. I'm cool witht hat, quite frankly. He is a behind the scenes worker and needs to get out the door now before he can start working with the other tribe or even members of our own.
If this tribal goes to plan, then I know that my alliance is solid. If it doesn't go to plan, then I'll soon find my ass out the door.

Day 6 August 28th, 2010
Tribal Council results were discovered and, as predicted, Michael ended up being sent packing. However, he didn't go out all that classy, as he lashed out at everybody, especially me. Not only does he call out my alliance with Mary, but he also tells everyone how I'm the biggest threat and will win if I make the merge.
I lashed right back at Michael and even was yelling at him on AIM about the whole thing. Not only did he say those two major points, but he also voted for me - one of his FRIENDS. If that's not low, then I don't know what is.
The tribe moves on from the entire Michael situation and into the challenge. We immediately discover that this is an individual challenge... but we aren't merged quite yet. The winner from each tribe will have Immunity and BOTH tribes will be going to Tribal Council. Unfortunately, the challenge was absolutely insanely difficult and gave me no chance at winning. Only those that had an entire day to devote and knew foreign languages well were going to be successful.
Day 7 August 29th, 2010
As I spent my day finishing up the last of my summer school work, other players worked on the challenge... at least from our tribe. When the results were revealed, NOBODY from the other tribe did ANYTHING. Mary ended up coming out victorious on my tribe.
Tribal Council was going to be coming and it was going to be the last Tribal before merge. That meant that things were going to start getting interesting...
Day 8 August 30th, 2010
We finally had a day off with no Tribal Council or Immunity Challenge to worry about - Thanks Chad!!!
That night, however, I discussed the vote with Adam who said that he was fine with either voting Lindsay or Jeff. Thankfully, I am determined to take Jeff out right now because he is definitely a floater and could easily switch sides. Coming into the merge, we need a solid 5 to against their 3. If we don't have that, we're done for.
I'm determined to get the solid 5 this Tribal...
