Wow, the bidding process for this immunity challenge went on FOREVER. Clearly both teams are crazy. The game has pretty much ground to a screeching halt, but our tribe having to make 3200 posts should help things pick up pretty quickly!
Not much else to say for the moment. I've got some posting to do. Back with more later.

So yeah, we just successfully completed the posting challenge. All I have to say to Mohua is... hahahahahahahahahahaha! No tribal for us, so pretty much life as usual here at Chukar.

Checking in with another brief update, bullet-point style: - Not much going on in the way of strategizing as far as I can tell. It's been such an absurdly long time since we went to tribal that people aren't saying much aside from the occasional "anything new?" message. I think we're all just waiting for the merge. - I was completely ready to target Kathy until she showed up at the end of the challenge with some awesome help. I think that she legitimately likes me, which makes me rather have her around than some of the other people. - Our tribe's kind of interesting. We have a few people that have been carrying most of the weight in the challenges (myself, Gary and Kelly) and several people who haven't been around nearly as much (Carmen, George, Kevin, and even Cher and Kathy). Carmen and George are verging on inactive, and I would have put Kathy into that group as well until today. Hopefully it'll make for some easy votes once we have to start picking off people on our own tribe, and for now it's just awesome that the other tribe has to keep voting out useful people while we've got a bunch of schlubs sitting around doing nothing. - At this point, I'm such a huge threat that it isn't even funny. I mean seriously, it's round 5 and I have almost 2000 posts. Because of the fact that everyone has an immunity idol, I've sort of decided that there's no point in playing coy and risk getting stuck without immunity at tribal, because even if you're in the majority alliance you could still be vulnerable. My guess is that it'll come back to haunt me at some point, but the good news is that our tribe also has a couple of other decent-sized threats. It would probably be to our benefit if we all worked together. - Right now, the long-term strategy that I can envision is as such: first, we pick off the other tribe. This part's a no-brainer, but in my experience somebody always fucks it up for no reason. Thankfully, we're going to have such a huge advantage in numbers at the merge that we can hopefully negate the possibility of hidden immunity idols complicating matters even further. Anyway, if we make sure that Mohua gets Pagonged, that'll just leave the eight of us. 5 of the 8 are currently in a majority alliance, and within that group of 5 I'd like at some point to make a final three deal with two other people, maybe Kelly and Gary. Obviously this is all really preliminary... I fully expect everything to get turned on its head at some point, but it's nice to have a plan.
