Where were you when you found out? Did they tell you in school? Were you allowed to watch the news? How did it affect you? If you are from another country how did you find out/how was the aftermath?
Here is a poem I wrote about it a few months after it happened
September 11th A day I will always remember Because of the tragedy in 2001 In New York
It changed many people’s lives Including mine I did not know anyone Who passed away, but Now I know I am not always safe In the USA
The families who suffered How they must feel Losing someone they loved Because of Osama bin Laden The families must hate him For ruining their lives What will they do? How will they live? I do not know, But I hope they do.

Great Poem.
I was at home watching cartoons, I think I was sick, and I remember thinking WHAT THE HECK IS THE NEWS DOING ON EVERY CHANNEL!!!! I WANT TO WATCH TV!!! lol.

I did not find out till the end of the school day. I did not really understand until I saw it on tv.

I honestly can't remember for the life of me. It sucks majorly, but I don't see why we need to talk about it every year. There are alot of otehr tragic things that have happened before that we could talk about.

yes your right there are other tragedies which can be spoken about and are, however on the date itself, I dont think focusing on this one event is that self centered, this is the day were supposed to remember 9-11.
IDK to me that sounded like a really selfish thing to say
