In the past, many have complained about the proboards required ads that are on the free forums. I personally never notice them, but they really bug some people. I never actually read how to make your forum ad-free until today, and its actually really easy and cheap for a forum. I also learned that anyone can donate as little as a dollar. So if you hate the ads, do something about it and donate. Even though we will not have them for another week and a half due to this being a new forum; if you donate it will become a credit that can be spent getting rid of the ads next month.
For now, it would cost only 7$ a month to get rid of ads on this site. If we expand to the level that SRGO was at, then it would cost 14$ a month however.
