Early before the game even starts predictions taht are very brief because I am tired:
Betty will provide entertainment. Sandra will make it far, she usually does. Justin will do well. Emmy could be interesting. Tobin will do nothing strategic. New York will be a character that will piss others off. Snooky could be a challenge threat.
No thoughts on the others.
SLEEP!

I agree with that. Nick Cannon's application was really well-written and original, and I think a lot of people will like him because he has personality. He's one of my favorite new players. I think Kiskadee is stronger so it will be interesting to see how Betty plays if she's down going into merge. We all know how last season went...

I think the tribes are pretty even, I think Kiskadee will win more immunities possibly. You should post the applications in here so we have a better read.

A couple of business things. PG talked about maybe writing episodes and I love the idea. I will shoulder the load for episodes that others don't want to or can't write, but I thought it would be a good idea to segment discussion by episodes for this reason so I renamed the thread for episode one.

Emmy is growing on me. I think she's playing with fire by lying to Renee this early, but I don't think Renee with have the firepower or interest voting her out early if she doesn't trust her. Tobin is not playing smart at all and Emmy made a huge mistake in following his lead on the PMs. That could be a giant mistake. Chris Brown has been a pleasant surprise, and I think Emmy is spot-on with her analysis of him.

Reading Emmy's and Tobin's first confessionals...since no one else has posted yet...
My general thoughts are that Tobin won't do anything strategically is off the mark. I dothink however, that sooner or later, he's going to dig his own grave by playing the 5 off of each other. I think Emmy is a bit naive at this point, but I hope she sees beyond whats on the surface and makes some good strategic moves for herself.
FYI...if New York find the game entertaining enough, he's one to watch out for. I know him personally and have played in several of his games. He writes one helluva game and he knows his strategy.

Early check-ins, but Kiskadee is eerily quiet. I think Justin might need to be more of a leader this season than last. In regards to New York, I've played with him in the past (can't remember if we ever hosted together) and I agree that he knows what he's doing. The question will be if he remains interested. The activity should kick up once the game begins. I'm SO glad we have someone already posting hypotheticals about the hidden immunity and what they will do if/when they get it. (In case you didn't know, the password to the Hidden Immunity is "adumreb". There won't be anything posted in it for a while (at least Episode 3), but I wanted to make sure you all had access to it in the event someone finds it.

I'm not sure why, but Chris sent me this as a private PM. Thought I'd share. I asked him to instead writing in his confessional instead of PM'ing me through the board.

lol @ Chris
Phil signed in and I really like him a lot (I know I've said that over and over). He just seems like a real player who doesn't overthink things. I think he knows what he's doing and should last for a while. I do think his ego could get in his way though.

Betty is already in the best spot in the game. Not making a big alliance but being social with her tribe. Being herself and calling Emmy out, with Emmy still wanting to align with her. Now she has an idol and could have plans on the other side if things go well for Sandra.
Tobin is doing something this season which is great to see, but he may be screwing himself early on. This could go either way depending on Betty and Emmy honestly.
Kiskadee is getting owned, I Think it's just bad timing as they all seem pretty active. I can't stand Nick, black people need to get over themselves... (joking). New York could go either way, but I don't know him. The first TC will be a crapshoot with votes every which way.

Here are my thoughts based on the first few confessionals:Betty - Seems like she will be an interesting character. It's obvious that it's all just an act though... I think she'll make the merge, but be an early boot once the merge comes around. Chris - Once his tribe loses, I predict he is definitely out. You can't come in a game with horrible grammar. No offence to him, but it's just going to annoy everyone. It sucks, but that's how it goes. He also seems VERY strange (looking at his application). Edward - He seems like he could turn out to be a good competitor. I know it's a bit early, but I really expect him to play a good game and make good alliances. If he could get himself in I see him making the finals. Emmy - Sounds like she will turn out to be very strategic. I don't see her making the finals, but I do see her on the jury. At least she's right about Chris Kelly - So far she seems very strange to me... But people always like to act silly on the first day. Based on what she's given us so far, I don't see her making it anywhere near the merge. I hope she proves me wrong. Nick - He doesn't strike me as a major threat, but I also don't think he's someone worth keeping around. He seems like that person that talks a big game, but in the end doesn't deliver. Tobin - From past games I know he will do good in this. It's just the way he plays the game, it surprises people... He's good at challenges, good at the strategic part. I think his biggest downfall will be working with Chris. He will get annoyed with Chris and honestly, I think people will end up voting out his alliance member. The rest still need to post... Will post other predictions soon!

Edward just bumped up to the the top of my list! The fake hidden immunity idol? Genius! This is the first time I ever heard of someone creating a fake hidden immunity idol in an ONLINE GAME! This can either help him (alot) or hurt him... if he shows someone who actually does have a hidden immunity idol, then it will be obvious something it up. I'm hoping he can play this well... I'd love to see him do well just because of this move.

I think the idol puts a huge target on his back at the same time. It's' a very short-term move because at some point people are going to want to use it to save themselves and he won't give it to them or they'll target him becaues he has it and he won't be able to protect himself. I think it's a good idea but will end up hurting him in the long run.
