Task Three

Welcome to your third task in the game! Congratulations on making it to this point!

Today's task will be song lyrics. I would normally assign a type of song (such as love song) but today I think I am going to let you guys pick the type of song. Your song should have the basic Verses, and Chorus, and it should be ORIGINAL. If anyone posts an actual song lyrics they will not receive points. Have fun! This is a fun task!

After 48 hours, I will judge each piece of writing on a scale from 1-10. Then I will post comments on each song and eliminate the person I gave the least points to! I wish you all luck... Complete this is your journal!

Gray and depresed
the notes float along the air
Tangled in your fingeres
they snag smoky in your hair
If that is music, this is life
and it's the only solution
Though somewhere along the way
we got caught in the noise pollution

I wish I could catch them
so delicate and free
But like the butterflies
they float away so easily
My fingers close tightly
and I can hardly see
These ghosts on the water
right in front of me

through the heavy smoke

my heart it nearly broke

Dance away, sweet memory
and don't leave me alone
Stepping over oil spills
avoiding the unknown
I chase you
slipping and sliding
Pushing aside
what I keep finding
