The Life & Lies of Xavier McBride
Hey, my name is Xavier, I am sixteen years old, and I have a drinking problem. When I was about two years old, my mother and father both died in a car accident so I have been living with my mentally unstable aunt here in the big city of Atlanta. She as been to jail twice and rehab once. She swears she is getting better though. I’ve gone to rehab once too for my obsessive drinking. So lately I have been trying to turn into the “good boy” people want me to be. I have attempted going back to high school but I got in a fight with some blonde bimbo on the first day and got expelled. She deserved every scratch I put on her. Just last month I broke into a store and stole some cash that I needed to buy beer. Why I didn’t just steal the beer is beyond me! Maybe it’s because I shot too much Coke that day and couldn’t do anything right. Anyway, after I robbed the store, I went to my girlfriend’s house. When she told me she was too busy to hang out, I flipped out on her. She deserved it, she can’t choose anything over me. I did the only thing I could think of doing….I hit her in the head with a shovel and buried her alive in the backyard. The unfortunate part of it was that her mother was home and told the police that I did it. The Popo took me away with the lights blaring in my eyes and now here I am…sitting in my jail cell writing about my life while I am starving and thinking about life in a new way. Once I get out, I plan on writing a book called, “The Life and Lies of Xavier McBride.” Well my old fat cellmate is waking up now…better hide this before he eats it…
