Genera: Fantasy
Name: Lance Chaplin
Age: 87 (appears to be in his early 20's)
Back story: Lance grew up on the streets of Brooklyn, alone, though not by choice. While his parents were neither rich, nor poor, they were negligent, and plain. Two things which Lance found to be quite boring, so he took to the streets most nights. He wasn't big, but he was smart, he knew how to handle himself, especially with the help of his quick tongue. It didn't take long for himself to amass a small teenage gang which he used to terrorize per say, but rather make himself a profit....at the expense of others. Lance and his gang weren't a group of thugs and muggers rather they would pull of diversion heists to make money for themselves as Lance loved the challenges of drawn out schemes as opposed to brute strength. This life style continued through high school, and into collage where Lance began to truly excel academically, for the first year. Growing board again, he found himself returning to the life of crime, however instead of tricking local shop keepers, his targets grew much larger.
It wasn't long until Lance found himself taking part in elaborate Bank Heists, which frequently ended with his escape amongst a hail of gunfire. As his targets grew rougher, so did his partners and it wasn't long before he grew a reputation of working with backstabbers and murders, this would be his downfall.
Following his last heist, at the safe house Lance shot in the back by his most trusted "partner". This betrayal was sparked by a powerful family whom Lance had previously robbed, one who offered a price high enough for Lances men to betray their own.
Lance himself was still conscious when he hit the floor, for he was still young and rich, and had no intention of dieing just yet. As darkness consumed him, and he drew his last mortal breath, the only emotion felt by Lance, was one of anger, anger that his life had been what he felt, unjustly taken from him. Yet Lance awoke from death, to a room that echoed it.
Police would later find the safe house, covered in the blood and bits of Lances former cohorts, yet Lances body was not amongst those identified. Two weeks later the mansion of the Gellipi Family was burned to the ground, whilst everyone was inside.
Yet if one where to look for Lance you would not find him in hiding, rather boastful of his accomplishments and apparent immortality. He no longer robs steals or murders, and if asked he will claim to have no memory of the latter, rather he awoke in his house in the Bronx, with 20,000K from his last heist on the floor.
As for what happened those two weeks he does not know or care to, as although he wont admit it, he himself is frightful of the powers which keep him alive.
Personality: Lance is no longer the theif or con man which he once was, however his looks and wit have yet to leave him. He is very boastful, and will back up his claims, and not unknown to take stupid bets which should involve self mutilation, yet his apparent immortality keeps him safe. He has been living life fast since the day he should have died, always moving leaving broken hearts and jealous boyfriends behind. Yet still after all these years, he has yet to learn how to fight, after all "hes immortal, he has no need" or so concludes his arrogant mindset.
The supernatural aspect: Well if we get to develop this character further I may get into that however, this is Lance, not whatever spirits host his body as well.
(Again very rushed)
