Most everyone has checked in, and my tribe seems to be a bit more active which is a good sign. John sent me a generic hello message that tells me he is out to align with whoever asks him first and he came off as really douchy. I may align with him down the road just to take a target off of my back. I really like Adam, ML, and Will so far, all alliance potential. I have already had aim conversations with a few people and this game has had an engaging start for not even starting yet.
